Our 6’6” three piece travel casting rod, was made at the specific request of some good people in Texas. This rod became so popular we decided to keep it in our lineup. This is the perfect length to fit into an airplane overhead compartment, so you will never leave this rod at home. This rod is ideal for fishing small soft plastics and light inshore. Our casting rod is manufactured using only the highest quality rod components. Starting with the blank, this fast action, medium power is the perfect combination of sensitivity and raw power. We use genuine Portuguese cork for our grips, RECOIL guides, and Fuji reel seats. Each of our rods include a rock solid rod tube embroidered with the Salty Dog Fishing Rods Logo and is lined with dividers for protection during travel. All of our rods and tubes are proudly assembled in the USA!
